Sprinkle some Blood and Bone on the ground then place a layer of wet newspaper 6 - 10 sheets thick over the ground. - This helps to smother grasses, weeds and helps hold the water in during summer.
For an extra boost, add Eureka's worm tea +plus to the water when soaking the newspaper. -
Sprinkle some more blood & bone on top of the newspaper as well. - This acts as a slow release fertiliser & also helps break down the newspaper.

Top up bed with a 25cm-30cm layer of Eureka Organic Compost
- This has instant nutrient requirements for maximum plant and root growth. -
You can use Sheep manure or straw for a mulch for Veggie patches

Cover bed with a 4 - 5cm layer of EUREKA ORGANIC MULCH( used for general gardens) - This helps protect compost nutrients from sun damage and retain moisture.

For existing garden beds:

(First method can be used for existing garden beds as well, just work around the plants and be careful of their roots.)
